Meet Robyn Williams
Robyn Williams is a dedicated community leader currently nearing the end of her second four-year term on the Manassas City School Board. She currently serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee and as Vice-Chairman on the Governor’s School @ Innovation Park. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from George Mason University and has found her background in Finance and Economics has been very valuable on the MCPS Board, in addition to her more than 10yrs as a Broker Owner of Redstone Realty.
Robyn and her husband, married for 25 years, have called Manassas home for over two decades, raising their two sons in the heart of this community. From a young age, Robyn made it her mission to teach her boys the importance of giving back, often bringing them to council meetings where they would inevitably fall asleep—much to the amusement of the city clerk! These small moments reflected the deep roots they were planting in their hometown.
Her husband’s passion for the community led him to coach youth sports when their boys were just four years old. Whether coaching the Manassas Sharks or volunteering with Osbourn High School’s wrestling team, he made a lasting impact. The boys thrived in the football and wrestling programs at Metz and Osbourn, building relationships that continue to this day. Even now, the family remains involved, volunteering with Osbourn’s wrestling team long after their sons have graduated—a true testament to the lasting bonds and commitment to their community.
Robyn’s journey in public service began with her involvement in the Beautification Committee, where she eventually became Chairperson. Her dedication extended into our schools, where she volunteered as a teaching assistant at Haydon Elementary for several years and taught environmental education modules through the Prince William Soil and Water Conservation Department. Today, Robyn remains deeply committed to the community, serving as an active member of the Rotary Club of Manassas and as a board member of the Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation, working alongside local businesses and educational leaders to support our schools and students.
